Photonic Measurements Contributes to Net Zero Exchange

Photonic Measurements is committed to achieving individual Net Zero targets and contributing to global efforts for a sustainable future. We recently participated in the Northern Ireland Net Zero Exchange with Invest NI to showcase our innovative technologies that promote energy and chemical savings in the water industry.

Highlighting Expertise and Building Partnerships

This five-day exchange brought together 10 companies and 8 stakeholders representing government, academia, and businesses from Northern Ireland. Our team had the valuable opportunity to demonstrate our expertise in:

  • UV probes

  • ICA control for measuring, controlling, and improving water treatment processes

Our primary objective was not only to showcase our solutions but also to establish vital connections and partnerships with key stakeholders in Malaysia and Singapore.

Fostering Collaboration in Net Zero Technologies

The exchange focused on fostering collaboration in Net Zero technologies, particularly those related to:

  • Sustainable water management

  • Decarbonization

  • Hydrogen and alternative fuels

As environmental stewards, we actively engaged in knowledge sharing and explored trade prospects in Southeast Asia.

Aligning Efforts with Net Zero Goals

One of the key takeaways from our participation was the utilization of the Green Economy Framework with Singapore. This framework aligns our efforts with both UK and Singaporean ambitions to achieve ambitious Net Zero goals. This collaboration will enable us to:

  • Contribute to mitigating climate change

  • Create new avenues for continued economic growth and job creation in Northern Ireland at Photonic Measurements
