Aquatech Amsterdam is the premier global event for water technology, bringing together industry leaders, innovators and experts to showcase the latest advancements in water treatment. This year, key industry themes included UV disinfection, reverse osmosis (RO), ozone treatment, PFAS monitoring and removal, phosphorus recovery and nitrate monitoring. UV disinfection system performance is measured in various ways including UV intensity sensors which gauge the integrity of the UV Lamps. Although this is important, it does not tell much about the water sample itself – For this we use UV Transmittance and Absorbance to get real-time measurement of the water quality, giving peace of mind for effective removal of organic contamination and potential regulatory non-compliance.
