Sales Engineer
Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Lisburn (Headquarters) / On the Road
Company: Photonic Measurements is a leading manufacturer of innovative water quality monitoring solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in customer acquisition & retention, driving sales growth and expanding our market presence across the UK & Ireland.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Sales Director, the post holder will develop and implement strategies to grow sales, delivering
on agreed revenue, profit and growth targets.
Manage a number of partners mainly in the UK and Ireland.
Maintain and report into the sales process inclusive of relevant KPI’s, reporting, analytics, pipeline management
and lead metrics.
Manage and Maintain CRM and customer information systems.
Hands on sales support through product demonstrations, and regional workshops and training visits. This role will involve travel across the UK & Ireland.
Requirements: Scientific or Engineering based 3rd Level Qualification (Water industry experience not essential but preferred)
Candidate: Proven experience in technical sales preferably in the water industry.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to clients in a simple digestible manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Valid driving license for UK & Ireland essential.

Manufacturing Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Company: Photonic Measurements is an advanced optical electronics manufacturing company specializing in the design and distribution of innovative water quality monitoring solutions. We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production and testing of high-quality equipment.
Responsibilities: Perform assembly, testing, and calibration of our water quality monitoring equipment in line with our operations. This will include our probe, controllers and UV254 Go! products. Conduct inspections and quality checks at different stages of the manufacturing process to ensure product conformity and compliance. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and assisting in the ordering of necessary materials and components.
Requirements: Level 3 Technical Diploma or Equivalent experience / Vocational training
Degree in Electronics related field preferred / 2 years experience in WQ instrumentation or optical equipment also preferred
Candidate: Proven experience and strong technical aptitude with the the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and processes, including soldering, wiring, and basic electronics. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes. Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
